Live From Studio 6H- Kenneth objects when Kabletown decides to stop paying for live TGS shows.
I am not sure who this episode was trying to appeal to but it lost me. I understand the quality and ‘organicness’ of live television but 30 Rock LIVE sucks. I am sure the audience this show was/is trying to appeal to could relate to the fact that the demographic of 30-Rock is younger than 30- not middle aged people. For this, I felt this episode was both contrived and a little too much and like I need another reason to stop watching this program after the Tracy Morgan apology episode.
Quote of the Night
Hazel: Calm Down! Paul’s gone. But your getting proposed to on the show tonight– by me. This is New York State Bitch anyone can marry anything now.
And can anybody tell me why Kenneth is still in the picture? He is even more annoying as a janitor than he was a page and I am not a fan of Hazel. It appears the writing for this show has gone stale and dry. Tracy is no longer (Tracy) post- gay comments, Jane is different since her real-life baby, I can tell Alec wishes to leave and Tina Fey is just relying on past gags and jokes to keep everyone watching. Who found any of this remotely funny?
An episode were Kenneth has more than 1 line is terrible, although the skit with Tracy and John Haim was a bit funny. Paul’s actual proposal to Jenna was pretty funny also Will’s (background telephone talking) during Jimmy’s scene was also funny- other than that I feel I wasted yet another night to 30 Rock.
